Two years ago, we told you an NSPIRE inspection mobile app was on the way. Today it's here.
Procorem Inspect is a native mobile app for iPhone, iPad, and Android phones and tablets that lets inspection teams run complete property inspections in the field and hand the office structured findings and finished reports the same day. And with this release, Inspect is available as a standalone product — you don't need to be a ProLinkHFA or Procorem platform customer to put it to work.
Why we built it
Physical inspections are still one of the most paper-bound processes in affordable housing. Clipboards, printed checklists, camera rolls full of unlabeled photos, and evenings spent retyping findings into spreadsheets — all before a report can go anywhere. Meanwhile, HUD's NSPIRE standard has raised the bar on what inspections need to capture and how deficiencies are classified.
Inspect was designed around that reality. The entire inspection happens on the inspector's device: walking areas, logging findings against the standard, and capturing photo evidence at the point of the finding.
What's in the app
- NSPIRE and custom templates. Run inspections against HUD NSPIRE-aligned templates out of the box, or build custom templates that match the way your team inspects.
- Findings classified the NSPIRE way. Every finding is captured against a standard and classified as life threatening, severe, or moderate, with correction status, due dates, and corrected dates tracked on each one.
- Photo evidence where it belongs. Photos attach directly to the finding they document, with notes and locations — no more matching camera-roll images to line items after the fact.
- Works fully offline. Set up the inspection ahead of time, capture findings without signal, and sync when you're back online. Rural properties and concrete basements are no problem.
- Reports the office can act on. Generate full inspection reports and exigent reports for life-threatening findings, built from the same data your inspectors captured in the field — no retyping, no reformatting.
Standalone, or part of your Procorem workspace
Procorem Inspect now stands on its own. Inspection teams can adopt it without any other ProLink product and get the full field-to-report workflow from day one.
For organizations already on Procorem or ProLinkHFA, Inspect plugs into the workspace you have: portfolio property data syncs directly to inspectors' devices, and finished inspections land where the office already works.
